Start Screen

The start screen is the first dialog you'll see when the software starts.

There are two different kind of start screen. One will appear when the software is started directly by the user, the other when the software is started by another software with already a project defined.

In both cases the software will do a System Check and show you a message. If everything is ready to work and the scanner is connected correctly the screen will show the Scanner initialized correctly message. If, for any reason, the scanner is not working correctly you'll read a specific error message.

In both the start screen you'll see this button to open the Options Dialog

Project Ready Start-Up

This is the Start Screen you'll see when the software is started with already a project ready from an Invoking Software, for example if started from the Exocad DentalDB.

You can see on the left the following Advenced Import Option:

• Unsectioned Model : You can enable this option if the model you're going to scan are not sectioned, in this way the scanner will not ask for every die separately
• Impression Scan : If your scanner has the Impression Scan Module here you can check this option to tell the software you're going to scan an impression and not a stone model
• Face Scan : If you have a Real Time Scanner you can check this Face Scan option to add the Real Time Face Scan of the patient to the project

On the right instead you can see 2 buttons:

• Start Project : Will create a specific Scan Project from the data coming from the Invoking Sofware, using the selected options, and start the Step-By-Step Wizard
• Close : Close the software without starting the proejct

Direct Launch

This is the start screen you'll see when starting the software directly

In this case no project is ready so the software will ask you to create a new project or to load a previously created project.

• New Free Project : This button will be present only on the scan system that have the Free Module enabled. This will let you craete a project in Free Mode
• New Project : This button will let you create a Structured Project and start a Step-By-Step Wizard
• Load Project : This button will let you load a previous project
• Close : Close the software without starting the proejct
