Le Module d’Articulation Dynamique permet à l’utilisateur de déplacer l’occlusion enregistrée en laboratoire avec un articulateur physique dans l’Articulateur Virtuel d’Exocad correspondant.

Quand le Module d’Articulation Dynamique est activé, un kit avec 4 plaquettes de support et un objet de calibration est aussi fourni. Voir Accessoires - Module d’Articulation Dynamique

Avant d’utiliser le Module pour la première fois il faut calibrer les axes du scanneur pour qu’ils puissent enregistrer correctement l’occlusion.

Les axes doivent être calibrés avec l’Objet de Calibration des Axes spécifique. Toutes les calibrations suivantes doivent utiliser le même objet ou les recalibrations des axes ne marchent pas

1. Insérer l’objet de calibration dans le scanneur
2. Sélectionner Recalibrer Axes
3. Cliquer sur OK

La réquilibration est automatique. Quand le processus finit, le logiciel montre l’un des messages suivants:

• 'Calibratation des axes accomplie avec succès' : la calibration est terminée
• 'Calibration des axes échouée' : la calibration doit être répétée

The following step is to set the correct Articulator Type during the Project Creation.
In the Articulator section select:

• Matching models to scan the occlusion if there is no need to use the automatic positioning in Exocad's Virtual Articulator
• Articulator A to scan the Artex Articulator and to use the same in Exocad's Virtual Articulator
• Articulator S to scan the Sam Articulator and to use the same in Exocad's Virtual Articulator
• Articulator P to scan the Kavo Articulator and to use the same in Exocad's Virtual Articulator

Proceed scanning the physical Articulator, accordingly to the previously made choice.

Remember then to scan the jaws on top of the appropriate mounting plates, as the software will remind.

If the base type doesn't match the type of articulator, the positioning in Exocad Virtual Articulator won't be correct.
